Underwater World - Watercolor Painting

Watercolor painting of Underwater World

I always was inspired by underwater worlds, especially by coral reefs - one of the most inspiring creations of life on earth.
For me coral reefs symbolize the essence of the sea. With this watercolor painting I wanted to create a fantasy painting of corals and sea creatures. I painted American Lobster next to giant gorgonian coral simply just because I liked color combination of yellow, oranges, reds, and greens. It looks like lobster is captivated by the beauty of coral too, and he is reaching with his lobster claws the flowers of giant coral.
Two seahorses symbolize relationship and love.
I would frame this painting in simple black frames with white mat.
I imagine this painting in beach house bedroom, white, cream cottage style bed, and black bench toped with teal, red, brown, white pillows…

Decorating Interior Ideas For Beach House

Decorating beach house, original art and motivational funny posters.
If you are people who like to bring friends to your beach house, perfection is not an option. Beach house should be inviting, accessible and approachable.
For young families with children the solution:
  • Strong colors and sturdy fabrics.
  • Playfulness should rule at the beach house. Play with lines, strips, florals and plaid.
  • Cover the chairs with linen fabric and anchor the room with an informal rug (you could start the room from the rug, look what colors in it and then, go crazy with color selection).
  • Define the dining room with bright and playful floral painting.
The most important thing is to enjoy your home.

Drawing Art of Wild Horses

I take painting and drawing art of wild horses seriously and passionately.
I think the understanding of the principals of light and shadow is a very important step in drawing and painting, and true understanding of light and shade comes with the practice of doing it, and of cause understanding it.

Celebrity Style Big Bold Exotic Labradorite Necklace

I am very inspired by the sea world that holds many secrets. My painting and jewelry collection this year was all about the water and all creatures deep within the ocean.

How To Decorate With Floral Paintings

How to decorate with floral paintings
When I think of art I think of beauty, I fill the canvas with flowers to express an abundance of life and strong feeling. Flowers are a daily reminder of beauty,
decorating with floral paintings is a lot of fun. In traditional monochromatic, light color interior, choose neutral tone flower paintings.

Decorate With Colorful Watercolor Abstract Painting

Art collectors asking me - give me some ideas on interior designs.
When you feel sadness or stress, think pink, candy colors like a sweet treat can help to feel uplifted and soothe anxiety. Pink could bring to the room not just warmth and sweetness, but and sophistication.
I created this floral watercolor painting at one cold winter day, when I daydreamed about my summers spent at my grandmother’s house. I remembered my grandmother’s gorgeous garden of peonies. The most beautiful ones were red and candy pink peonies.

red peony original watercolor painting

When I started creating painting I decided to put red peonies in first plane in more detailed style, and pink in background in more abstract style.
With this modern art flower abstract painting you would create warmth and excitement to living room, and sweeten up your dining room. Pair pink with black or brown to give a room little bit drama and sophistication.

I used black mate seed beads to give necklace hint of the exotic. I think this necklace looks powerful and makes a bold statement.

Native American Inspired Painting

Native American inspired painting

I always loved to paint horses, because they remind me my childhood and wonderful days spent at my grandparent’s farm. A horse for me symbolizes a power and strength. Before this work, I always painted horses in movement or some action, but this time I wanted to paint a simple picture.
I am inspired by Native American art simplicity and bold colors, but especially I inspired by the Acoma people of New Mexico bold patterns. In this painting I used limited palette of colors: Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Red, Raw Umber, Green and Ivory Black.

How to Create Peaceful Environment For Your Home

How to Create Peaceful environment for your home

I think every home should be peaceful and relaxing.
You may feel more relaxed when you surround yourself with objects that remind you about something nice. You may feel more peaceful and centered when you surround yourself with objects that express your cultural heritage. For some, a cozy and colorful cushion, soft blanket and interesting artifacts gives warmth, comfort and reassurance.
Peaceful environments are reminder where we have been and where we are going. I think, our favorite artwork serve us as symbols of safety and bring reassurance during stressful times.
Put your favorite works of art where you spend the most of your time when you relaxing, reading book, listening music….
Make important, meaningful symbols the focal point of your rooms. Arrange your family photos on your office table, treasured heirloom or a favorite painting next to fire place. Forget what is beautiful for others; choose colors and meaningful things that are uplifting for you and your family.
I did this commission
painting for my clients; they have a wonderful, very artistic house, beautiful and peaceful inside and out.

Modern Watercolor Painting

Nature is a very important source of inspiration in my work. Nature is always beautiful and inspiring.
This modern watercolor painting I did when I spend a beautiful evening at Provincetown beach, waiting for sunset. It was so beautiful and peaceful. In this
painting I wanted to express a mood at that moment with shapes and stylized forms of see world. I wanted to show the process of life, and how nature is very connected with humans.

Ocean Treasures

Ocean Treasures
After spending all my morning waking at the beach, I had a vision of an
ocean inspired necklace. I was seduced by warm palette of seashells and cool colors of water. I gathered some shells, beach glass, and went back to my studio.
In this necklace I decided to use natural ocean jasper cabochon (when worn, ocean jasper emits a gentle nurturing energy), natural white coral cabochons (helps promote balance and modesty). I used opal sea green, opal moss green, opal ivory, opal tan silver lined seed beads, coral, mother-of-pearl natural beads, and Czech glass.
Color is an extremely important to me, because it influences mood. This necklace beautiful palette of colors - whites, greens, and shades of sand - brings the soothing calm of the seashore into your hart and body.
Mother-of- pearl beads epitomizes feminine loveliness, Czech glass beads add sparkle, and fringe brings interest and hint of the exotic to the necklace.

There is the symbolic meaning of the oak tree which is in the background to the left of my grandfather’s side. It represents strength and longevity.
My goal was to create a painting that was meaningful and unique.
I used a limited palette of colors: Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Red, Alizarin Crimson, Burn Siena, Raw Umber, Ultramarine Blue, Cobalt Blue, Viridian Green, Ivory Black.

Designer Jewelry With Sunny Amber

Designer jewelry with sunny Amber.

I am inspired by the natural radiance of amber, and its warm and golden tones. Amber is fossilized tree resin, over 50 million years old. While amber can be found throughout the world, the finest comes from the southern shore of the Baltic Sea.
Baltic amber is referring as the “Gold of the North”. In 16
th-18th century, necklaces, bracelet, watch cases, buttons, boxes, and even luxury interior fittings were made using amber. Amber was acclaimed to posses the power of healing.
True Baltic amber usually is milky and pale under the crust and occurs naturally in a variety of colors: yellow, white, red, brown, and black. Green and blue are most rare.
I got this beautiful, like a sunshine amber stone, and decided to design a gorgeous
bracelet. Like you see, amber is nicely complemented by gold and warm earth tones.

Original Watercolor Art

Original Watercolor Art
Watercolor is a delightful medium to use and it offers a great deal of potential for all kinds of subject matter. For me, appeal of watercolor lies in the way that it can be applied in subtle washes (a ‘wash’ is a thin layer of translucent watercolor paint) to capture the transient effects of light and mood.

I like to use watercolor in a more controlled, detailed way.
For this playful painting I had chosen greens, blues, that represents harmony, red - joy, luck, happiness, orange and burnt sienna to bring warmth to the painting.
I use hand made, archival and PH neutral watercolor paper by Arches or Winsor & Newton.

Painting with Watercolor

Painting with Watercolor.
midnight-symphony

Midnight Symphony 15" X 22" watercolor on watercolor paper. © Ezartesa.

Transparency is the most unique quality of watercolor, as it allows the white of the paper to shine through. In addition to transparency, in this painting, I focused on glazing. Glazing is the technique of painting a wet wash (or layer) of color over a previously dried layer of color, to give the optical illusion of a third color.
To add interest to the painting I brought patterns and abstract shapes using one shape over and over, and interlocking it with another.
I have chosen three sleeping birds: swans and Canada geese in order to express one and the same feeling, because I know that repetition of one and the same thing deepens the effect produced. I painted two other geese in action, to give a painting a filing of sound.
For the sky in my painting, I was inspired by magical image of night sky, studded with gold stars, decorating the ceiling of the ancient Egypt tomb.
Big moon symbolizes home. Colors in my painting shift from dark to light. Neutrals - cream, white, beige, brown and grey blue – brings a relaxed, calming feeling.

Understanding Color

Understanding Color
Colors work together in different ways.
There are basically two types of relationship between colors – harmony and contrast. Colors that are next to each other for example red and yellow, are harmonious, while those that are opposite, for example red and green, contrast with each other. Harmonious colors are more calming, and contrasting colors are more dramatic.
In this
handmade necklace I used different shades of green (forest green, light green, mint green) and added little bit drama with contrasting color root beer. For background I had chosen neutral color cream, added shine and texture with copper beads.

In this modern, abstract painting I had chosen harmonious, calming colors: blue, blue green, green and added warmth and balance to painting with contrasting color yellow ochre.

Bring curiosity, interest and conversation to the room

Bring curiosity, interest and conversation to the room.

This painting brings curiosity, interest and conversation to the room. It would call people to come up and study it. I think it’s perfect for living room, guest room or children room.
This painting is subtle but still pretty crazy. I worked with four color palette: blue, green, orange and brown. I painted sheep in different patterns to create playfulness and give interest to main characters - sheep. I painted trees in different shades of green to give painting little bit serenity. There’s something about the continuity that calms you.
Orange cherry tree gives excitement and flower power.
You can’t go wrong with this painting; colors are very earthy, and it looks good with light and dark wood furniture, traditional, contemporary or modern décor.

Choose Floral Painting For Your Vacation House

This painting is perfect for a subtle, casual vacation house and would look gorgeous in living room, dining room or bed room. Bring in your house the colors of sky, sea, and grass.

Original-Painting-modern-impressionism
Mona Lisa White Flowers. Original Painting - Oil on canvas (gallery - stretched)
Size: 30"x24".

I love to paint flowers, so I decided to paint white Peonies. They are beautiful for their fair, quiet, almost whispering tones. All over the world, white represents purity and simplicity.
To prevent flowers from feeling too stark and boring I added texture with thick paint brushwork.
For background I had chosen contrasting colors turquoise blue and orange to add little bit drama.
When I balancing contrasting colors, I always think about quantity, value, and intensity of each color I use. In painting all colors are medium-light-value, and low-intensity.

How to create a certain mood or feeling in painting

How to create a certain mood or feeling in painting?

Before beginning any painting I try to ask myself: How can I create a painting that will convey a certain mood or feeling? What do I want to say?
My goal as an artist is to communicate visually in such a way that it will stimulate the viewer’s imagination to see not only with their eyes, but also with their hearts.
I solve the major issues first - values, colors, shapes - and then relating them to one another.
Symbolic meaning of shapes or subjects is very important to me. In this painting the paper boats reminds me childhood. When I think about it, I feel warmth, peace in my heart. Life is too complicated, with this painting I trying to find my way back to my peaceful, worry free childhood.
With the abstract shapes and decorative patterns I express joy and playfulness. White flowers symbolizing innocents, purity.
Window with the beautiful seascape - like mirror of the future, haw I would like to feel. Quiet water gives sense of serenity and peace. Geometric Shapes of houses symbolize order and stability.
I work from my imagination. I always wish to transmit what is pleasant and good for me and I try to recreate this in each painting.
I influenced by everything that moves me.

Which Beading Threads To Choose

Which beading threads to choose?

I love to bead with Fire Line thread. It’s prewaxed, strong, flexible and ideal for use with silk seed beads and crystals, which can have sharp edges that cut other threads. They resist fraying and have near-zero stretch.
I may choose a Fire Line for strength; for another piece a Nymo threads - perfect for color match (it comes in 18 colors).

Finding inspiration for my jewelry

I love Southwest pottery. Especially I inspired by the Acoma people of New Mexico pots that are simple in shape and boldly patterned, always based on white clay slip and often in a red and black palette.
That’s why I decided to make a peace of
jewelry “Nature Inspired” simple, with four- color palette( black, cream, brown and grey) and bold abstract patterns.
This necklace looks amazing at winter time with the blacks and grays; summer and spring with the cream, white and grey blue colors; fall with earth tones.

The Painted Sheep

The Painted Sheep.

sheep-cherry-trees
One summer day, after visiting inspiring farm, I fell in love with the sheep, they so cute! Immediately I started painting in my mind.
Couple months later, like a recurring dream, the idea of a sheep painting once again occupied my thoughts. I would like to show, how playful and together elegant sheep are.
sheep-cherry-trees-skech
Firs I work out several ideas in a number of sketches like this one. I play with composition and color. Then I enlarge it on a piece of tracing paper. After working out all the elements on the tracing paper, drawing and redrawing parts until I am satisfied they will work, I trace the drawing on to a larger piece of watercolor paper.
In this painting I used blue, blue greens, orange, red orange, ochre, burnt sienna, burnt umber.
I imagine this painting in elegant room, with light blue green, tan, sand or light peachy walls, red orange sofa with playful blue, green pillows. Chinese coffee table and elegant light wood chairs.
